Anderson Epic Adventure 2017 FAQ: Where do you stay?

One of the first questions we typically get asked by people when we talk with them about our trip is, "where do you stay"? Being gone a whole month does require sleeping in various environments and I would like to think that we are fairly strategic or have a purpose in selecting where we sleep each night. During the upcoming month, we will sleep in 1 of 3 places: campground, hotel, friends/family. Our home during our trips I am not sure on the exact number but we will spend quite a bit of time in our tent staying in various KOA locations across the US. We like the KOA's for various reasons. Work slacks, shirts and ties are hung up in the closet, dress shoes are....not really sure. That can only mean one thing...vacation time! We are just a couple days away from heading out on what has become known to us as our Anderson Epic Adventure. What is an Anderson Epic Adventure you ask? Great question! Around 2012 we began driving back to Wisconsin to visit my family instead of flying. Our first trip was a couple weeks long, took us through 7 states and 4 National Parks. Fast forward to the summer of 2016, that same trip to Wisconsin took us through 30 states, a few National Parks, some major cities (Dallas, D.C. Philly, Chicago), to some water (Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean) all 4 time zones and over 8,000 miles. This year is looking to provide the same level of adventure. We will see new faces and new places along the way. This year we would like to share our adventures with you along the way through pictures, videos, and responding to any questions you may have for us!
