This blog is moving to a new location with a new name: join me here to see what 2018 has in store for all of us! Not sure where it will go, how it will go but excited to find out!
With all the build up and excitement that comes before our trips, this one had an element of unknown. This would be the first time I was back home since the passing of my Dad. I had gotten used to my new normal back in Washington, missing the weekly phone calls and chats we had on the phone. I am glad we did it as it saved a lot of time walking. The city covers a lot of ground and this was a great way to see it in one day. The city is comprised of squares. I believe they said the original design was to have 24 of them and the current city has 22 of them. Lots of historical sites, gift shops and places to eat await you in this beautiful city. We walked th...
