Wisconsin Part 2 and a Prairie Chicken?

Today was the day. The day that we packed up our things and began the trek back to WA. Saying good-bye is always hard and they have not gotten any easier over the last 19 years. Our journey back will be a 3 day, 2 night affair. The first leg brought us to Bismark, ND. Tomorrow the target city is Butte, MT but we may keep driving a little further depending on how we feel. We should be pulling back into Prosser sometime on Wednesday afternoon.


As we wrap up the trip, here are a few more pics from our stay in WI and a couple highlights from the day on the road:

A Day in Savannah

I am happy to report that we survived the alligators. Actually did not see one until it was time to leave and it was on the other side of the lake. After the sighting we loaded up the car for a quick 20 minute drive into Savannah. Trolley Tour tickets in hand, we were ready to see the city. Once we loaded the trolley, the tour guide began telling us the history of the city. What is nice about these tours is you can hop on/off at various points along the way. See an area of the city that you want to see more of, hop off and come back to the stop when you are ready to continue. The cost for the four of us was $83.00. I am glad we did it as it saved a lot of time walking. The city covers a lot of ground and this was a great way to see it in one day. The city is comprised of squares. The Right Tool For The....Goal?

Making sure you have the right tools for the job are always important. My son recently had a birthday and we bought him a basketball hoop. Needless to say, it needs to be assembled. Prior to going to work on it, I looked at the picture to see what it should look like when done (goal) and then looked at the tools needed for assembly. My next step was to make sure that I had the necessary tools in order to reach the goal of a basketball hoop that you could actually shoot on! After setting my goals for 2016, I began reading about and understanding how certain tools can help you work towards and stay on track towards achieving your goals. I have also found that there are more tools available on the web than one needs so the trick is finding the one(s) that work best for you. I have tried some that did not work and set them aside and have found others that are a good fit for me.
